About National Qualifiers

The WELO National Qualifiers represent the official first stage of the World English Language Olympics competition cycle within each participating country.

They function as the nationally governed qualification mechanism through which students progress from school-level participation to national ranking and potential selection for the WELO Finals.

The National Qualifiers are designed to ensure that advancement is determined by merit and conducted under transparent, standardised academic conditions.

All qualification activities operate within the WELO governance framework and are conducted:

• At accredited WELO Member Schools
• Under the supervision of officially appointed National Representatives
• In accordance with the approved WELO TOEFL® assessment framework
• Subject to LearnRight® integrity and quality assurance oversight

Through this structured model, the National Qualifiers establish a consistent and equitable pathway for student progression across participating jurisdictions.
