Founding Partners

Two institutions serve as the founding pillars of WELO:

SUL Education – Founding Organisation
Providing strategic leadership, governance coordination, and international development oversight.

TOEFL – Founding Assessment Organisation
Supporting the official WELO TOEFL National Qualifier framework and assessment integrity.

Together, these founding partners established the structural, academic, and operational foundation of WELO.

National Partner Network

In every participating country, WELO works with officially appointed National Representation Organisations.

These organisations:

• Coordinate national competitions
• Partner with local schools
• Ensure compliance with WELO standards
• Form National English Language Olympics Committees
• Support students on their journey to the UK Finals
