On 4 March 2026, Slavas Palkevicius, WELO Secretary-General held a strategic meeting with Alexandre Argenta, President of BELTA – Brazilian Educational & Language Travel Association. The meeting marked an important milestone in the development of the WELO national framework in Brazil.
As part of the WELO global expansion, BELTA has been officially recognised as the founding representative of the WELO National Committee in Brazil. The meeting focused on the next steps for introducing the WELO programme to the Brazilian education and educational travel community, particularly through the BELTA member network.
